Homeless Simulation for Youth

On Saturday, December 17th, several youth from Almaden Valley Youth Ministry in San Jose, California will experience the plight and struggles of the homeless by sleeping outside. Student will be allowed one blanket or sleeping bag and a box to keep them warm throughout the night. Students can only eat if someone brings them food and they must eat whatever is given to them. A truck will be placed outside to collect warm clothing and blankets throughout the night. If you have old coats, hats, scarves, blankets or sleeping bags that you no longer need, please drop them off anytime between 7pm on Saturday, December 17th & 1pm on Sunday, December 18th. This event will be held at Holy Spirit Church, which is located at 1200 Redmond Ave, San Jose, CA. Please help us bring a little comfort to those on the streets who have no home this winter.
